F. M. 1419 (Southmost Road) and F. M. 3068 (Indiana Ave.). Southmost Quadrangle. Elev. 20-25 ft.

Habitat and Description: In narrow strip of mixed woodland on soils mapped as deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silt loam Typic Ustifluvents (Rio Grande series), on +/- flat agricultural landscape on delta of the Rio Grande. Associates included Celtis laevigata, Celtis pallida, Sabal mexicana, Xylosma flexuosa. Corolla white, 5-lobed; several small trees.
