Habitat and Description: In weedy herbaceous v vegetation on soils modified soils originally mapped as deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline silt loam Typic Ustifluvents (Rio Grande series), on +/- flat agricultural landscape on delta of the Rio Grande. Associates included Chloris andropogonoides, C. ciliata, Lepidium austrinum, Plantago rhodosperma, Sonchus asper, Verbena halei. Common.
