Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in wet fine sand in and along mostly unshaded shallow drainage ditch along unpaved road on floodplain of small stream, foot of slope underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Anagallis arvensis, Briza minor, Dichanthelium spp., Myosotis macrosperma, Sesbania vesicaria, Teucrium canadense, Trepocarpus aethusae, Valerianella radiata, Veronica peregrina. Stems branched; rare.
