Habitat and Description:
Under shrubs in mixed vegetation on very shallow soils on nearly level plateau top underlain by Salmon Peak Limestone. Associates included Dasylirion texanum, Dasylirion texanum, Karwinskia humboldtiana, Leucophyllum frutescens, Mimosa sp., Opuntia sp., Rhus virens. Rays white; occasional.
