Locality: United States, TEXAS, Val Verde, E side of valley of Devils River 500-1000 ft. SW to SSW of TPWD bunkhouse, between mouths of Satan and Little Satan canyons, ca. 9 airmiles NW of jct. US Rt. 277 and road to Rough Canyon Recreation Area. SW part of Devils River State Natural Area Southern Unit. Elev. 1120-1140 ft.

Habitat and Description: In mostly herbaceous vegetation in seasonally moist alluvial clay or silt in slight depressions on occasionally flood-scoured Salmon Peak Limestone bedrock exposed on floodplain of perennial stream. Associates included Ammoselinum popei, Arenaria benthamii, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Chaetopappa bellidifolia, Digitaria cognata, Draba platycarpa, Euphorbia longicruris, Evax prolifera, Hedeoma acinoides, Hordeum pusillum, Hymenoxys odorata, Limnodea arkansana, Phalaris caroliniana, Physaria recurvata, Physaria 30259, Salvia farinacea, Scutellaria drummondii, Sedum nuttallianum, Sida abutifolia, Tragia leptophylla, Tridens albescens, Triodanis sp., Trisetum interruptum. Occasional.
