Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in small opening just upslope from forested streambottom, on soils mapped as deep, moderately well drained, neutral to slightly acid fine sand (Patilo Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs), on gentle slope underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Local.
