Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in white sand in higher drier part of streambottom, in opening in woodland at base of gentle slope underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Briza minor, Callitriche peploides, Carex spp., Dichondra carolinensis, Galium tinctorium, Gratiola neglecta, Juncus diffusissimus, J. cf. interior, Leersia virginica, Lindernia dubia, Ludwigia decurrens, L. glandulosa, Modiola caroliniana, Persicaria sp., Phalaris caroliniana, Sisyrinchium rosulatum, Steinchisma hians, Strophostyles sp. Culms 2 ft tall or more; occasional.
