Habitat and Description: Co-dominant with Dichanthelium scoparium in wetland herbaceous vegetation in moist sand on upper edge of floodplain of perennial stream, at foot of grassy slope underlain by Carrizo Sand. Area lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Carex 30580. Centella erecta, Dichanthelium scoparium, Eragrostis hypnoides, Juncus diffusissimus, Ludwigia decurrens, Oldenlandia uniflora, Persicaria sp., Pteridium aquilinum, Rhexia sp., Sesbania sp. Abundant, co-dominant with Dichanthelium scoparium.
