Habitat and Description:
In wet sand along partially shaded shoreline of unnatural lake, at base of steep slope underlain by Eocene sands, on soils mapped as moderately deep, well drained, slightly acid gravelly sandy loam (Jedd Series, Ultic Paleustalfs). Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Bidens frondosa, Dichanthelium longiligulatum, Eclipta prostrata, Ludwigia decurrens, L. palustris, Pluchea odorata. Common.
