Habitat and Description: In strip of recently cut pines in burned forest, in strip paralleling county road on nearly level upland underlain by Eocene sands of the Reklaw Formation, on soils mapped as Axtell-Tabor complex. Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Bulbostylis ciliatifolia, Chrysopsis pilosa, Croton lindheimerianus, Cyperus reflexus, Cyperus spp., Dichanthelium lanuginosum, Diodia teres, Eragrostis spectabilis, Lechea mucronata, L. L. tenuifolia, Leptochloa dubia (seeded), Mollugo verticillata, Paspalum plicatulum, Phytolacca americana, Polypremum procumbens, Rhynchospora harveyi. Common.
