Habitat and Description: In opening in Ashe juniper- shin oak woodland on shallow stony clay soil on flat limestone ridgetop. Associates included Croton monanthogynus, Evax verna, Lygodesmia texana, Panicum hallii, Thelesperma filifolium. Locally common.
