Habitat and Description: In grassland on silty soil in broad shallow valley on gently rolling landscape underlain by a mix of Perdiz Conglomerate (a fanglomerate of variable composition) and Quaternary alluvium. Associates included Bouteloua gracilis, Chamaesyce albomarginata, Chloris sp., Croton pottsii, Eragrostis sp., Kallstroemia hirsutissima, Muhlenbergia 31187, Panicum hallii, Proboscidea fragrans, Rhynchosida physocalyx, Solanum citrullifolium, Zinnia grandiflora. Abundant, the dominant species.
