Habitat and Description: In grassland on silty to gravelly soils on very gently rolling landscape underlain by a mix of Perdiz Conglomerate (a fanglomerate of variable composition) and Quaternary alluvium. Associates included Asclepias brachystephana, Berlandiera lyrata, Berlandiera lyrata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Bouteloua gracilis, Chamaesyce revoluta, Cirsium ochrocentrum, Condalia ericoides, Croton pottsii, Dalea neomexicana, Desmanthus cooleyi, Evolvulus nuttallianus, Linum puberulum, Machaeranthera pinnatifida, Muhlenbergia sp., Nyctaginea capitata, Panicum hallii, Poinsettia davidii, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Talinum aurantiacum, Tidestromia lanuginosa, Yucca elata, Zinnia grandiflora. Rare.
