Habitat and Description:
In moist sandy alluvium in unshaded bed of narrow intermittent creek draining rolling upland underlain by Carrizo Sand and supporting loblolly pine forest. Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Ammannia 31708, Boehmeria cylindrica, Cyperus 31707, C. strigosus, seedlings of Populus deltoides and Salix nigra. Common.
