Habitat and Description: Under cottonwoods (that died during drought of 2011) on sub-irrigated site on deep, well-drained, noncalcareous loamy soils (Gageby Series) on gently sloping alluvial flat. Associates included Aster subulatus, Berula erecta, Carex sp., Eleocharis rostellata, Lobelia cardinalis, Populus (deltoides var. wislizenii?), Salix (gooddingii?). Local.
