Habitat and Description: In shrubland on lower slope underlain by tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Aloysia gratissima, A. wrightii, Brickellia laciniata, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Heteropogon contortus, Hibiscus denudatus, Ipomoea costellata, Parthenium confertum, Viguiera stenoloba. Rare.
