Locality: United States, TEXAS, Presidio, Along S side of nameless short tributary to Alamito Creek E of railroad bridge, ca. 1.2-1.3 airmiles NNE of St. Rt. 169 bridge over Alamito Creek just N of Plata. Kennedy Ranch (Dixon Water Foundation). Plata NE Quadrangle. Elev. 3880-3890 ft.

Habitat and Description: In open shrubland on fairly steep N-facing slope underlain by tuffaceous sandstone and conglomerate of the Tascotal Formation. Associates included Acleisanthes longiflora, Allionia incarnata, Aloysia wrightii, Aristida adscencionis, Chloris virgata, Condalia ericoides, Dalea formosa, Dalea neomexicana, Digitaria cognata, Ditaxis (neomexicana), Ephedra trifurca, Eragrostis lehmanniana, Fouquieria splendens, Ipomoea cristulata, Krameria sp., Lygodesmia texana, Macrosiphonia macrosiphon, Melampodium leucanthum, Merremia dissecta, Nolina texana, Panicum hallii, Perityle vaseyi, Physaria fendleri, Poinsettia davidii, Setaria leucopila, Sida abutifolia, Tidestroemia lanuginosa, Tridens muticus, Verbena neomexicana, Viguiera stenoloba, Yucca torreyi. Rare (in September).
