Habitat and Description: On ranch, noticed only in patches of relatively sparse vegetation within shrubland on outcrops of chalk-like tuff or tuffaceous sandstone of the Tascotal Formation exposed on slopes. Matrix vegetation a shrubland dominated by Acacia neovernicosa, Larrea tridentata. Other associates included Bahia absinthifolia, Bouteloua cf. aristidoides, B. cf. hirsuta, Calliandra iselyi, Dasyochloa pulchella, Echinocactus horizonthalonius, Enneapogon desvauxii, Fouquieria splendens, Hedeoma 31789, Hibiscus denudatus, Hoffmanseggia glauca, Pectis sp., Polygala 31785, Talinopsis frutescens, Tiquilia greggii. Rays absent; disks cream-colored; rare.
