Habitat and Description: In thorn shrubland among boulders atop limestone bedrock exposed on floodplain about 1-3 feet above normal level of river. Associates included Acacia berlandieri, A. rigidula, Aristida sp., Berberis trifoliolata, Calliandra conferta, Diospyros texana, Karwinskia humboldtiana, Leptochloa dubia, Leucophyllum frutescens, Mimosa sp., Setaria sp., Sophora secundiflora, Sporobolus compositus, Tridens muticus, Yeatesia platystegia. Frequent.
