Habitat and Description: In grassland on relatively deep clay or clay loam on flat upland landscape underlain by limestone. Grassland dominated by Hilaria belangeri, Parthenium confertum and Croton monanthogynus. Other associates included Aristida sp., Bouteloua curtipendula, B. trifida, Desmanthus velutinus, Digitaria cognata, Ditaxis humilis, Erioneuron pilosum, Ipomoea costellata, Portulaca pilosa, Quincula lobata, Salvia reflexa, Senna lindheimeriana, Thymophylla pentachaeta, Verbena canescens.
