Habitat and Description: In mostly evergreen woodland or tall shrubland on flat ridgetop high on dissected landscape on Cretaceous limestone (mostly Glen Rose Limestone but perhaps Edwards Limestone at this tiny high spot). Associates included Bothriochloa laguroides. Bouteloua curtipendula. Desmanthus velutinus. Houstonia nigricans. Juniperus ashei. Liatris mucronata. Sporobolus compositus. Wedelia hispida. Common, the dominant woody species.
