Habitat and Description: In shade of young regrowth mesquite in what had been a brush-cleared pasture, on deep soils in level area on Recent alluvium in river valley. Associates included Gilia incisa, Glandularia bipinnatifida, Lappula redowskii, Limnodea arkansana, Nassella leucotricha, Opuntia leptocaulis, Prosopis glandulosa, Rivina humilis, Solanum elaeagnifolium. Locally abundant.
