Habitat and Description: Along upland margin of riparian woodland on sandy to silty alluvial soils on floodplain of perennial stream. Area lightly burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Ambrosia trifida, Campsis radicans, Celtis laevigata, Dichanthelium scoparium, Diospyros virginiana, Eupatorium serotinum, Lactuca ludoviciana, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Paspalum notatum. P. urvillei, Phytolacca americana, Quercus nigra, Rubus trivialis, Smilax bona-nox, Ulmus americana, Verbena brasiliense, Vitis mustangensis. Rare.
