Habitat and Description:
In burned-over loblolly pine stand upland underlain by either Carrizo Sand or Reklaw Formation, on soils mapped as deep, moderately well drained, neutral to slightly acid fine sand (Patilo Series, Grossarenic Paleustalfs). Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Cyperus strigosus, other Cyperus spp., Dichanthelium spp., Froelichia latifolia, Helianthus debilis, Mollugo verticillata, Panicum brachyanthum, Phytolacca americana, Portulaca umbraticola. Common.
