Habitat and Description:
In one part of large unshaded wetland at base of forested slope underlain by Eocene sands of the Reklaw Formation, on soils mapped as deep, excessively drained, slightly acid fine sandy loam Typic Ustifluvents (Sayers Series). Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Culms trailing; locally common.
