Habitat and Description: In herbaceous vegetation in wet soils in vicinity of unshaded stock tank in bermudagrass improved pasture on nearly level landscape underlain by Pleistocene terrace deposits, on soils mapped as deep sandy loam Aquertic Chromic Hapludalfs (Nez Series). Associates included Carex tetrastachya, Cyperus entrerianus, C. virens, Eleocharis montevidensis, Galium 32610, Juncus diffusissimus, Limnosciadium pumilum, Limnosciadium pumilum, Ludwigia peploides, Paspalum urvillei, Persicaria sp., Phalaris angustata, Ranunculus pusillus, Salix nigra, Sesbania drummondii, Sphenopholis obtusata, Steinchisma hians. Annual; local.
