Habitat and Description: In mixed evergreen-deciduous woodland on gentle slope on spine of ridge underlain by sandstone and clays of the Fleming Formation. Woodland dominated by Quercus macrocarpa, Q. virginiana, Ulmus crassifolia, Aesculus pavia common in understory. Other associates included Arisaema dracontium, Callicarpa americana, Calyptocarpus vialis, Carex 32480, Carex 32481, Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon, Dichanthelium 32478, Erythrina herbacea, Galium aparine, Ilex vomitoria, Juglans nigra, Malvaviscus arboreus, Melica mutica, Nemophila phacelioides, Onosmodium bejariense, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Salvia lyrata, Smilax bona-nox, Symphoricarpos orbiculatus, Tragia brevispica, Valerianella radiata, Verbesina virginica, Vitis mustangensis. Common.
