Habitat and Description: In exotics-dominated hay meadow on deep soils of valley flat, on soils mapped as well drained, moderately alkaline dark gray silty clay (Oakalla Series, Cumulic Haplustolls). Associates included Bothriochloa ischaemum, B. laguroides, Carduus nutans, Ciclospermum leptophyllum, Cirsium texanum, Coreopsis 30876, Glandularia bipinnatifida, Lactuca serriola, Nassella leucotricha, Panicum coloratum, Parthenium hysterophorus, Paspalum pubiflorum, Pyrrhopappus sp., Ratibida columnifera, Solanum dimidiatum, S. elaeagnifolium, Sorghum halepense, Verbascum thapsus. Stems gangly due to occurrence among rank vegetation on deep soil during wet spring; rays white; occasional.
