Locality: United States, Texas, BREWSTER, Black Gap, 90 miles south of Alpine. Elev. 2150 ft.
Habitat and Description: Infrequent and widespread over area. Usually low and much spreading-branched. Along arroyas plants are much taller. Fruit excellent horse feed; Indians pulverized fruit and used in breads.
