Locality: United States, Texas, CAMERON, East of Harlingen on Hwy. 106, 4.5 miles east of bend in 106 at Harlingen Air Force base, 0.3 miles north of intersection with road marked to Port Harlingen. Elev. 30 ft.
Habitat and Description: Fence row at roadside, above creek. Gray-brown silty sand. Prosopis sp. - Yucca sp. - Parkinsonia aculeata. Tree, 6 m., Basal diam., 30 cm. Crown diam., 7 m. Wide spreading from 1.5 m. Sparingly branched in first order but ultimate branchlets dense. Bark smooth, greenish, with horizontal grayish patches and annular wrinkles. Yellow petals, "standard" with red markings at base.
