Locality: United States, Texas, BREWSTER, Big Bend National park, 2.3 mi. N of Castalong Road, on Chisos Basin-Santa Elena Canyon Road. Elev. 2350 ft.
Habitat and Description: Low, sparse scrub on flat. Buff sand and cobbles-boulders. Larrea-Opuntia lept. complex. Shrubby perennial herb, 1 m. Rounded mass at ground. Leaves and young stems have silvery appearance. Inflorescence light green.
