Locality: United States, Texas, Presidio, Cienega Creek Unit, Big Bend Ranch. Above deeply entrenched Cienega Creek Canyon but below jeep road ca. 1.5 km downstream from sheep shearing camp.
Habitat and Description: Uncommon on east-facing slope. In rocky, basaltic, clayey soil. Associated with CD microphyllous scrub with Viguiera, Dalea, Fouquiera, Parthenium, Larrea, Agave lechuguilla, Acacia constricta, etc. Flowers pinkish-white.
