Habitat and Description: Habit small tufts, erect grass; habitat open fields; annual; soil sandy; flowers terminal panicles; color greenish; month Sept.-Oct.; leaves leafy near base, thin and narrow. Only a few plants seen in flower. Apparently occuring in small colonies.
