Habitat and Description: Habit erect, weak, slender grass; habitat along the edge of thickets; perennial roots; soil clay; flowers on very weak slender panicles; color greenish; month September; leaves slender, weak, narrow, erect. Not abundant in Cameron County. Occurring in dry soils.
