Locality: United States, Texas, San Patricio, Nueces Bay N shore, ca. 1 mi. W of projected end of NS road 893. Elev. 3 ft.
Habitat and Description: Beach, ca. 5 m. back from water. Buff-gray sandy silt. Grasses-Iva frutescens complex. Shrub, .5 m. Long branched from base, covering area 2 m. across, sprawling on ground and on vegetation. Pale blue corollas. Involucral bracts pale green w. darker green stripe. Inflorescences have mild sweet odor.
