Locality: United States, Texas, Cameron, Southmost, ca. 1.4 mi. S from end of highway 1419 (i.e., from brick gates), on dirt road. Elev. 20 ft.
Habitat and Description: At edge of palm grove. Roadside at palm grove, at edge of clearing. Light brown silt. Sabal tex.-Celtis miss. complex. Tree, 10 m. Basal diam., 30 cm. Crown diam., 7 m. Densely branched from ca. 2 1/2 m., rounded crown. Bark dark brown, deeply vertically fissured. Fruit green.
