Locality: United States, Texas, Presidio, E side of Cienega Creek, ca. 2 km downstream from Cienega Camp.
Habitat and Description: Abundant annual herb on basaltic, coarse soil on low ridge. Associated with open CD scrub of Larrea, Fouquieria, Acacia constricta, Forestiera angustifolia, Alloysia, Viguiera, Parthenium, Opuntia imbricata, Ephedra trifurca, Prosopis, Dalea, Opuntia leptocaulis, etc. Fls. yellow. Foliage odorous when bruised.
