Habitat and Description: Volcanic rock hillside. Brown volcanic rock in boulders, cobbles, etc. Aristida wright.-composite herb complex. Perennial herb, 30 cm. In dense clumps. Vegetative parts very resinous. Aromatic when crushed. Yellow rays. Dark yellow disks.
