Locality: United States, Texas, Jeff Davis, Roadside near Musquiz Creek, 11 mi. N of Alpine.
Habitat and Description: Fls yellow, sweetly odoriferous, sepals spreading at anthesis, yellow above, greenish below. Siliques at first inflated, later thick from densely packed seeds. Stems inflated with hollow interior, often infested with beetle larvae.
